Baptism Registration

- The St. Mary Star of the Sea parish family awaits with joyful anticipation to welcome your child into our spiritual family!
  If you are a parent looking to baptize your child, you should be registered and actively practicing parishioners at our parish.
  
  You can register at our parish by visiting our New Parishioners page and filling in the form.
  Complete the Baptism Registration form found below.
  After completing the form, email a scan of your baptismal certificate and your child's birth certificate to Adriene at [email protected]
  
  *Please note, if both parents are Catholic, the FATHER'S baptismal certificate should be submitted. If both parents are not Catholic, please submit the Catholic parent's certificate.

  Canon 873 There is to be only one male godparent or one female godparent or one of each.
  Godparents must at least be 16 years of age
  Godparents must be fully initiated in the Catholic Church (received Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation), in good standing with the Catholic Church, living a life of faith which befits the role to be undertaken, not under canonical penalty, and not the father or mother of the one to be baptized.
  In order for a non-Catholic to be a godparent, there must be at least one Catholic godparent. The non-Catholic godparent must be Baptized in another Christian faith (i.e. Pentecostal, Baptist, United, Greek Orthodox etc.)
